Today we spent the day at the Minnesota Zoo. We saw the Africa exhibit, got to feed a giraffe, saw some spring animal behavior, interesting shoes, and enjoyed a smoothie… sans-straw.

Gracie graduated from Petsmart Intermediate Education yesterday.
Holy Deck

First we had to remove the fake grass from the deck and stain it. Then we found out that the posts were not mounted into concrete. Now we have a nice hole in the middle of it because it’s rotting away. Good thing for handy grandpa’s to help out with these kinds of things!

Today is Gracie’s 4th birthday. Can’t believe we have had her for 6 months already! She definitely has a better life now and is just a little bit spoiled, but that’s ok. She is our baby and we love her.
